of the west coast, and traveled across the country in a pickup truck. We found our little piece of earth in the great smoky mountains. After two years of tending the grounds, we got married on grass we planted, under oak trees that were here when Emery’s great grandmother white feather still walked the woods of Appalachia.

we believe this land is sacred and set apart to bring loved ones together. Whether in marriage, community, reunion, or retreat, our mission is to tend this sanctuary in the woods as a gathering place to linger outside the walls of society, in the freedom of nature.
